monday meanderings

I really should not be meandering. I am up to my eyeballs in to-dos and I have been having bouts of hyperventilation since this morning from sheer stress over work.

Taking power naps help to calm me down, as well as eating. Then there's sneaking in a few chapters from a book and stealing a few minutes to paint.

For the rest of June, my work schedule will be rather tricky. Three projects overlapping. I know I mentioned sometime ago that I would not even attempt doing TWO simultaneous projects and now I have three. What can I say? The bills have to be paid and one of those three projects has proven to be a profit loss for me so I have to make up for that loss by stuffing in two other projects.

Bills and day-jobs can really be major killjoys sometimes.

My house chores are way behind but I'm pleased with the creative productivity.

hello, busy week

I am having a hot cup of coffee as I write this post. Simultaneously I am emailing some people about a research project that needs to move (my main business right now is doing market research for ad agencies and manufacturing/service companies).

Sunday always leaves my house in a bit of a mess so Monday often becomes a chore day. I just need to get some research project work done and get them out of the way. I also have online classes to attend to today so it will be very very busy.

I have thought long and hard about the DSLR offer from Canon and I couldn't sleep very well dreaming about it. I just have to do one last set of pencil-pushing on the numbers and then maybe I can actually drop by the mall today or tonight (or tomorrow if I get REALLY swamped with chores and work and lessons) and get it.
